Dear Readers,
I have some wonderful news regarding my Sudden Hearing Loss Support fundraiser!
During the last month, I have been crowdfunding to raise money to cover the initial start-up and running costs for a new website dedicated to supporting people with sudden hearing loss. This website will offer information, support and advice to anyone who has been affected by sudden hearing loss.
Today, was the last day of the fundraiser and I am so happy to say that we more than doubled the target amount, raising a whopping total of £1,025!!!
Here’s how the money will be used:
- £400 will be used to cover the initial start-up and running costs of the website.
- The remaining funds will be divided equally between the following charities: the British Tinnitus Association (BTA), Hearing Link, the Ménière’s Society, and the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), who have all provided me with support in dealing with my hearing loss.
A big thank you to everyone who donated or shared the fundraiser on social media!
I can now start working on creating the website. As soon as the website is up and running, you will be the first to know!
Best wishes,
Carly
that’s wonderful Carly, well done. Can’t wait to see the website when it is up and running xxx
